So, as many of you know, I’m expecting baby #4 this fall. My actual due date isn’t until October 30th, but due to my recent cardiac health issues, we will actually be meeting baby at 33 weeks!
While there’s a certain element of excitement that goes along with the idea of meeting this sweet babe sooner than we thought, the reality of it also hit me full force that we have a lot less time to get everything in order – including packing up our hospital bags.

Last week I had the privilege of being invited to attend the “Wake Up To Yellow” campaign in Saskatoon, SK, hosted by the Egg Farmers of Canada*. I have to say, when I was first invited to attend, I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but the event was great and so well done! I was so impressed at the time and effort that had clearly gone into the set-up, design, and promotional material resources.

Confession time: I’ve never been very good at play or make believe. This might not come as a surprise to those of you who know me, but as a kid, I liked to spend my time organizing, planning, setting up, and creating projects and activities. I would spend all my time “getting ready” to play, and then get bored really quickly when it came time to actually settle in and play or make believe.
